Creating video pins for Pinterest doesn’t require expensive software! In this blog post, I’m collaborating with Sourced Co., a stock photo and video brand for wedding and creative professionals to create beautiful, creative video pins without fancy video editing tools and software. In this video tutorial, I’ll be using Keynote on my Mac to create video pins.

I’m so excited to share this fun collaboration with you! I have been struggling with creating professional video pins for some time now. Having video stock that is on brand has been challenging for me and I don’t have access to much personal branding video. Enter Sourced Co!
Where to Find Beautiful Stock Video for Wedding and Creative Professionals
Sourced Co. has graciously provided a sampling of their stock video so I can show you how to create beautiful on branded video pins for Pinterest. Before we get started, a few specs about video pins on Pinterest. More of this info can be found on Pinterest.
- Files Must be .mp4, .mov, or .m4v
- A max size of 2GB
- At minimum 4 seconds (though to use Tailwinds uploading feature, it seems to require 5 seconds) to 15 minutes
- Video Pin descriptions up to 500 characters long
- Aspect Ratio can be 16:9, square 1:1, or vertical (2:3. 9:16, or 4:5)
You can certainly create video pins on expensive software like Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro, but I wanted to find a way to make it easier for the non-video pro to make awesome video pins too (you can also read about using Instagram Stories and Canva for video pins here)!
In this video tutorial, I’m using a sampling of videos from Sourced Co., that you too can purchase from your website! Let’s get started!
