Tailwind Communities Insights

Tailwind Communities are a key player for easy visibility and virality! But, how do you know if Tailwind Communities are worth your effort as a blogger? Tailwind has recently introduced Tailwind Tribe Insights.
Here are some analytics you can explore with the new Tailwind Communities insights:
- Pins Submitted – How many pins you added to the tribe
- Re-shares – Number of pins Tailwind Communities members pinned from the tribe
- Virality – Number of Repins per published pin (i.e. how many of those re-shares got repinned on Pinterest)
- Reach Received -–Total potential impressions of those pins across Pinterest
Using these features, you can sort your best performing Communities. You can sort by ‘your pins,’ total tribe (i.e ALL of the pins people submitted to that tribe), and see how the pins you pinned from OTHERS in the tribe performed. The ‘crown’ indicates it is a Tailwind Tribe I created (see why you should start your own Tailwind Tribe here).
Explore which Tailwind Communities gave you the most reach, earned you the most re-shares, as well as led to the most virality:
In this example, I sorted my Tailwind Communities by virality, revealing that I received the most ‘virality’ from the ‘Content Marketing Tailwind’ Tribe.
You can explore within each tribe which pin is getting the most re-shares and what type of content is popular within the tribe:
As you can see, these new Tailwind Communities insights are a goldmine of information! Learn what others in your niche are interested in pinning and improve your content marketing strategy!
