Do you schedule your pins on Pinterest using Tailwind? Board lists on Tailwind are a great a feature and allow you to quickly schedule pins to several boards at once! I show you how in this video tutorial.

One of my favorite features of Tailwind, a Pinterest scheduling app, is the ‘board list’ feature. This is a huge time saver when batch scheduling pins. On the Pinterest app, you can only pin to one board a time (and I totally remember the day when you could do multiple boards, back when we only used Pinterest for recipes and crafts). This is NOT an effective strategy and will eat up valuable time. Tailwind is the key to putting your Pinterest marketing strategy on auto-pilot. I know I say that over and over again, but saving time is the key to a robust Pinterest marketing plan.

What are Board Lists on Tailwind?
Board lists on Tailwind are a feature that allow you to schedule one pin to many boards at a time. One click, multiple boards. You can already see how much of a time saver this is. It allows you to take one piece of content and multiply your efforts. I use board lists on Tailwind every day and I think it is one of the most powerful tools on Tailwind. And because I’m a visual learner, this video tutorial will show you how I use board lists to easily batch out my scheduled pins on Tailwind:
Some key things to consider with board lists:
- Try to create board lists by category. For example, I might have a board list that contains all boards related to Pinterest content.
- Create a board lists where you can apply all of your content! This board lists might only have a few boards in it, but I can reasonably apply all of my pins to at least 3-4 boards.
- The newest 2020 recommendation is to pin to 10 boards or less, so choose the BEST boards for your content.
- Use multiple board lists for content! You can choose a few that fit your content.

Thanks so much for commenting, Alicia!
Thank you! I wasn’t sure how to do this, your tutorial was really helpful! 🙂 I’m just getting started with tailwind and loving it so far!
I am so glad it was helpful! And, glad to have you in the tribe. 🙂
Thanks Alicia- I was not quite sure how to use the board lists. Instead of shuffling, would it be ok to use the time interval between pins?
Totally! I use the intervals (which lock in the pins) all the time! Thanks for stopping by!
Vanessa –
This video is great! Thanks so much for sharing… glad to find your blog and all your wonderful content. I am just getting started with Tailwind, and I love all the features… but it can be overwhelming. This post and video are super helpful!

So glad, Teya! It’s one of my favorite features!
Do you know if there is a way to publish to board lists on the app? I have not been able to find a way to do this.
I rarely use the app, but after a quick look, I don’t see that option!
OK, thanks for checking for me.
Vanessa, you make learning Pinterest so easy and to the point. AND you drop these little golden nugget extras in every video.
Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome. 😉
This is great. Before I sign up, is there a way to bulk upload my own new pins via this or does that have to be done on Pinterest still?
Hi Charlotte! You can upload pins via drafts on Tailwind, and then add them to a board list all at once. It’s a good way to save time. 😉
